Netflix recently released their first ‘blockbuster’ movie starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. This is a big deal because it shows that Netflix are going to be branching out from just hosting movies to producing their own huge movies to draw people to the site. This movie had a lot of hype around it and with Netflix already renewing it for a sequel before it’s release many people had really high expectations. However, whilst watching the film it became apparent that they were trying to fit too big a story into too little time. In this post I am going to be discussing my thoughts on why Bright would have worked better as a TV show.
